About Bernard F Poole, President and CEO

Bernard Poole began his career in the restoration industry in 1993 working for Preferred Restoration Experts, Hicksville, New York. In 2000 he joined BELFOR USA as a National Account Manager. During his five (5) years with BELFOR, he was responsible for the Northeast branches and business development with National Accounts.

Bernard founded B. Poole Restoration, LLC (BPR) in 2005. He developed BPR into a very successful and well respected company. In January of 2010, BPR was purchased by Black Eagle Partners. Per the terms of the purchase agreement Bernard was appointed as a Principal with InStar Services a national restoration company with 22 offices in the U.S.

Following his contractual term at InStar, Bernard was appointed as President & Chief Executive Officer of Mitigation Solutions, LLC a NY based disaster recovery company, providing national services to the industry.

He lives in Huntington, NY with his wife Dianne and two children. Bernard has over 25 years of service as a Volunteer New York State Emergency Medical Technician for Huntington Community First Aid Squad and currently serves on the Board of Directors. He is also certified by FEMA for its National Incident Management System.
